A fix has been successfully implemented for Mercedes-Benz, and we are monitoring the system to ensure stability. The outage was caused by Mercedes-Benz implementing a change to their authentication flow causing an large influx in Connected_Service_Account: Authentication_Failed errors. Here’s what this means for your vehicle owners:
- Each affected Mercedes vehicle will need to reauthenticate by logging in again through Smartcar Connect.
