Earlier today, we experienced an outage with our Mercedes-Benz integration. We've since resolved the outage, and our integration is working once more.
The outage was caused by Mercedes-Benz implementing a change to their authentication flow. Unfortunately, this change also invalidated all currently active connections. This resulted in vehicle owners being logged out of their Mercedes mobile app and any third party applications they had connected. Here’s what this means for your vehicle owners:
- Each Mercedes owner will need to re-authenticate their vehicle to your application by logging in again through Smartcar Connect.
